ABOUT YKS

YKS is a true grassroots program.  The program began in 2015 with just one team of boys, offering recreational youth basketball on a strictly local level.  In 2018 the organization expanded to include its first team of girls ages 9-11.  Over the next four years, building on the core group of girls from that original girls’ rec team, YKS focused increasingly on the development of a high-level competitive girls’ program and evolved into a nationally recognized program that is now home to one of the top 2027 girls’ teams in the Eastern United States.
